How to reproduce:

Write a message into a group chat.
Go offline with that user.
Receive/Read the message with all other members.
Go back online with the messages author.
Tada the autor did not receive a messageStatusChange event from the server.

How to fix:
Possably changing the query or/and the pending message architecture on the server.
