All components should be adustable in size with a general scale value. As it is a common problem in many OS and programs, I think this is a very nice feature that will prevent many users from cracking their brains in weird solutions to solve this problem. (As they do with all other programs that have this problem!)

See #69. I guess that is literally the issue you're thinking of, if I understand you correctly.

Unless you mean something like Eclipse (custom heights and widths, adjustable through dragging) allows you to do. If that is the case, then I wish you a lot of fun because while it might be possible, JavaFX certainly does not like it the slightest and you'll have to force it really hard using a coffee machine built by @kske.

But afterall, while your feature description already improved, I still have no idea what the original issue you're describing is. I can only guess, which certainly isn't what I'm expecting in a feature request.
