As we are now allowing the disabling other contacts, these contacts should somehow be marked. The current approach of simply changing the background color is seen as frivolous by some members of the Envoy team.
Hence, a specifically designed icon is needed.
Who better could take on such a task than the designer in the Envoy team?

Acually I would not use a new icon for this. I would just display the contact with less opacity to indicate it being disabled.

I think that is a good solution.

It's probably more efficient to have a separate icon that is less opaque instead of changing the icon programmatically, though.
